CLUB SUPPORTERS BAR TAB

To all WFCC Members

I am writing to you all as a follow up to the recently held members’ forum.

As explained at the forum, our Club is in some financial difficulty which has required us to take some immediate action in an effort to steady the ship and secure the future.

While the Board is implementing a range of measures, at the forum members were keen to know “what they could do to help support the club”. One of the ideas put forward was the introduction of a Bar Tab to generate some much needed cash.

As a result, on Saturday we launched a Club Supporters Bar Tab for the month of August which allows members to pre-purchase a Bar Tab in one of 4 amounts – $100, $200, $500 or $1,000, with no time restrictions on when it can be spent.

As an added incentive, thanks to the generosity of one of our sponsors and wine merchant, each person who pre-purchases a Bar Tab will go into a draw for the following d’Vine Cellars vouchers: $25 voucher draw – for those who pre-purchase a $100 Bar Tab, $50 voucher draw for $200, $150 voucher draw for $500 – $150, and $300 voucher draw for $1,000.

To express our commitment to securing the future of our club, Board members have made contributions to the pre-purchase Club Supporters Bar Tab in the first couple of days of this new initiative.

As it currently stands $9,000 has already been raised – thanks to those members that have already purchased a Club Supporters Bar Tab.

In closing, I would like to encourage all members to participate in this initiative to support of our great club and purchase a Club Supporters Bar Tab during August.
